A: Thanks for your question! Our lids of made of 100% food grade silicone, which is FDA and LFGB approved. This means they don’t contain BPA, BPS or any other phthalates and nasty chemicals that are found in plastic. food grade silicone is a great safe and eco-friendly alternative to plastic. **Q: Can these go in the oven? Obviously not the tops.**

Thank you for your question. Yes these containers are safe to use in the oven.
They are made of food-grade 304 stainless steel and are safe to use in the oven at lower temperatures to reheat food (up to 355 F / 180 C). The lids are made of LFGB-certified food-grade silicone, and are also safe to use in the oven at these temperatures. Although I would recommend reheating food without the lids, and covering the containers loosely with foil.

I bought these for my daughters with other back to school items. We're now a plastic free home and these containers offer a great option for snacks and meals for on the go. The lids come on and off easily so my daughter can take it off on her own. They're dishwasher safe, the colors are so beautiful, the sizes are great and I haven't had any leaks after using them for the past 2 months. I will admit that they're pricy but you pay for quality. Sure, I could buy something made of plastic that is cheaper and would hold their snacks but it would have chemicals that I can't get behind and it would fall apart quickly. You get what you pay for ya'll.
