Although he loved it and it served its purpose, I think it’s too flimsy for a 13yo. I bought this one because it says it folds flat which is only true if you remove the corners... and it's too hard to remove one assembled. There are two tent pole rods if you put those together and lay them on the ground you’ll see there different lengths. Look at the net and you’ll see on side is longer then the other. Longer rod long side of net. Hope that helps. We have had these nets in the past and they have survived many hours of play time hockey.
