**Q: Are these real salmon eggs or artificial as some of the reviews say?**
A: FALSE ADVERTISING! The word caviar means the roe (eggs) of certain kinds of fish, washed, then lightly processed with salt to preserve it. This is not salmon caviar because it is not salmon roe, aka eggs. They should not be allowed to use the word caviar anywhere on their labeling or advertising! If you read the product description carefully you will see the company says they specialize in food spherification. This means they take solid food and re-shape it into small spheres before selling it. Buy it if you wish, but please do not be misled into believing you are buying fish roe, a.k.a. caviar.
