Some people wore them continuously 24/7 and some cycled them on& off as needed, but they all seemed to last a full day in an amusement park. Just charged them up each night next to our phones.The neck string isn't the best, but it does it's job. Maybe ours kept getting tangled because we were carrying 5 in the bag.
