Review: Terrific for pens and pencils, reduces a lot of clutter - I used to keep my large number of pens and pencils in various boxes and totes, which was a retrieval problem because items where piled on each other and I had to dig for things. Also, they tended to get spread out quite a bit in the supply closet. This sits nicely on a shelf and provides easy access to hundreds of items where every single one is visible and retrievable with no digging and no shelf wear from items rubbing up against each other. The construction is not exactly square, so it rocks a little on the shelf. I could fix that with a couple screws but it hasn't bothered me enough yet to take the time to fasten it down to the shelf. The drawers are a bit of a loose fit side to side, so will look a bit mis-aligned unless you push them all over to the same side. But none of that matters much to me and having all these items organized for easy access far outweighs any care I have for those minor imprecisions. The visible wood (drawer fronts, sides) is beech, which is a very nice hardwood for this price. Overall this is a remarkable value for the price and really does the trick for sparking joy in my supply closet :) I would definitely do it again and recommend. Review: Beautiful, Well Built Drawers With Lots of Room! - This set is absolutely beautiful and really upgrades my pencil storage. The color is really attractive and the stain on my boxes is uniform. These cases are well built, and all of the drawers slide in and out easily and smoothly. I love that I can remove an entire drawer and place it on my desk. I only wish that the dividers were removable. They are fixed in and glued, so unless you take an exacto knife to them, they're stuck. Other than that, these drawers are absolutely perfect and hold my entire pencil collection. I love them! ## Features - 4-drawer wooden storage box has plenty of room for storing pastel pencils, soft pastels, pens, watercolor pens and small brushes, charcoal and graphite pencils, erasers and other art supplies - This handsome artist pencil storage drawer is made of high-quality, hand-sanded beechwood with finger-joint construction, premium metal handle makes the drawer easy to pull out - All the art supplies organizer drawers fit and slide in and out nicely. Deep enough for fountain pens?** A: yes **Q: Is it finished ? I would like to stain it darker** A: No, it is unfinished. **Q: Are the dividers removable?** A: i removed some of mine with pliers. They are glued in but you can take them out easily. **Q: What is the exact depth of the drawers?** A: I don't have calipers so my answer probably won't help you much. Also, by depth, do you mean the "height" of the drawer or the distance from front to back? My best answer is the height of the interior of the drawer is just under 1/2 inch. The depth of the interior of each drawer from front to back is about 8-1/4 inches. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Terrific for pens and pencils, reduces a lot of clutter *by B***G on January 21, 2026* I used to keep my large number of pens and pencils in various boxes and totes, which was a retrieval problem because items where piled on each other and I had to dig for things. I have the 10 drawer and the 6 drawer now. It will hold so many pastels and it will be 100% full when my new ones get here. I love this. It’s not perfect it can fall over if super rough but it’s the best I’ve found for at home. ## Frequently Bought Together - MEEDEN 4-Drawer Artist Supply Storage Box - Portable Foldable Multi-Function Beech Wood Artist Pencil & Brush Storage Box with Drawer & Compartments for Pastels, Pencils, Pens, Brushes, Stamp - MEEDEN PRO Paint Brush Holder - 2 Tier Wooden Paint Brush Organizer - Large Capacity Art Supply Storage for Desk, Crafts - MEEDEN Art Supplies Cart, Walnut 3-Tier Multifunctional Art Storage Cart Organizer, Solid Beech Wood Studio Cart Art Taboret with Caster Wheels, Rolling Utility Cart Organizer for Artist --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/225603352-4-drawer-artist-supply-storage-box-art-organizer-with-compartments](https://www.desertcart.us/products/225603352-4-drawer-artist-supply-storage-box-art-organizer-with-compartments) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
