Easy as pie to install. Be sure to check with them to see if your device is able to use. I originally ordered an 8gb stick, going off a part number. After reading a bunch of reviews, it seemed to be a legit choice. Once I got it, and installed, it just yelled at me. So after reading another 100 reviews, I found one from the company that said this particular model (and maybe others) has to have 2 sticks of equal value, in other words, instead of one 8gb, I needed 2 4gb. They gladly took my 4gb back and I ordered the correct pack of 2- 4gig sticks. Works great. No questions asked on return and returned my dollars on the same day that I sent it back. The new ram makes a night and day difference with this little machine.
