It is amazing outdoors. My disabled mother is able to go on hiking trails with us and move about outdoors with little to no problems. However, this is not suitable for indoor use. The joystick does not allow for the delicate finesse that her Hoveround does. I have major dents in my door frames because the joystick is "squirrelly" and the Beast is so powerful that it damaged the door frame. I have had this chair for 2 years and it very rarely requires charging. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
