I thought it was going to be heave or bulky. Its completely soft. The entire necklace is soft. I love that. To me that means it is child proof. No small parts to get stuck with. The necklace came in the beautiful package. It has the story of the company. Since i missed the part about the necklace being made of silicon, i just had to read this package from front to back.
