Review: Works fine. Note it is made in Mexico. - I was looking for a pill cutter made in the US. Vast majority are not and hard to be sure, based on old reviews, unless the vendor explicitly states where it is made. This was one of them for which a couple of customers said "Made in USA" in their reviews, but those were in 2016-18. The price was suspiciously low, but I purchased it anyway. It is made in Mexico. However, as new it definitely worked better (cutting a 8-mm round tablet consistently in half, leaving just a speck of crumbles) than our old pill cutter from CVS (which actually crushed these tablets). Although I just started to use this cutter, I am giving 5 of 5 (with low cost is a bit of factor), but the seller didn't advertise that it is US made, so not stars taken for made in Mexico! I read that pill cutters need to be replacement more often than I thought. Pill cutters should be replaced when the blade no longer cuts cleanly, which often occurs every 3 to 6 months depending on usage (and some pills have intentionally harder coating), or roughly every 200 cuts. If the cutter is crushing or crumbling tablets rather than creating a clean, sharp split, the blade is dull and should be replaced.
