S or M?** A: I should think a large would be safer for a 38” chest to be on the safe side. I’ve found that different manufacturers have different ideas regarding medium, large etc... **Q: Is this good for having lots of pockets during hot summer?** A: Don't buy it has plenty of pockets but not good for summer a fully lined with polyester satin material which is no good for keeping you cool in warm and hot weather . The description states 100% cotton , when only the outer material is 100% cotton . It is typical of products made in and from China that they falsely describe the materials their products consist of !!!! **Q: I bought one of these a few weeks ago and mine has press studs instead of a main zip why does the picture show a zip which I prefer by the way** A: Mine had the zip, as it's not what you wanted return it because press studs will drive you mad . It also makes the gillet not fit for purpose from securing your phone etc. **Q: What size do I order for a 42inch chest (uk)?** A: I am 117CM chest size and I bought XL size which fits fine over 3 under garments --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/223624566-mens-dog-handler-vest-fishing-vest-hunting-gardening-gilet-photographers](https://www.desertcart.us/products/223624566-mens-dog-handler-vest-fishing-vest-hunting-gardening-gilet-photographers) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
