My heart rate is super sensitive to dropping electrolyte levels. I got tired of buying coconut water and other potassium drinks. I wanted this to add to my large water bottle to sip throughout the day for better absorption. So far I think this was a good choice. The flavor of the unflavored is not gross as another reviewer said. I add a half scoop (500 mg) to a 48 oz bottle of water and it tastes like regular water, maybe a slight mineral taste. The only way it would be gross is if you tried to add a scoop to a regular glass of water. Which would be a bad idea for your GI system.
