There is hole at the bottom that you can use a pen or like to push the ball out for cleaning. **Q: any way to scroll horizontally in mile-long spreadsheets without clicking scroll bars??** A: Unfortunately, this one does not have a dedicated horizontal scroll wheel. Thank you for your question! **Q: Does this support multiple decider (ie switching from one to another computer with a click)?** A: Sorry that Orbit Fusion Wireless Trackball doesn't support multiple decider. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Trackball I've Found *by G***Z on September 17, 2020* Love the ergonomics of the Fusion Orbit Wireless! While its a little bigger than I expected , the shape fits my hand comfortably (6' 2" male) with natural access to each of its well thought out buttons and a beefy (but not too big) 40mm ball. It doesn't use Bluetooth so you'll need an open USB port for its tiny 2.4Ghz nano receiver. No latency whatsoever using the supplied connection dongle and its immediately plug and play on both Windows and Linux machines. The downloadable Kensington Works software isn't really necessary unless you need to change scroll speed and button configuration from factory settings. I only have a slight nit with the page scroll ring being a little sticky. Hope that gets broken in over time. In the meantime, I'm happy giving this device 5 stars as its the best trackball I've ever used and a significant upgrade from the Kensington Orbit wired trackball. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard to left click without moving the trackball *by U***T on December 19, 2021* Kensington has been one of my favorite brands for over twenty years. Great company. They have great customer service, and great products.I really wanted to like the Orbit Fusion, but the horizontal placement of the left buttons makes it very difficult to left-click without moving the trackball. Instead pressing down, you have to squeeze your hand a little to click the button. Whether you're clicking on an underlined web-link or clicking in a video game, it's super-easy to miss-click. When squeezing your hand to click, the trackball usually rolls to the right a little, unless you're super-careful.The Kensington Works software is easy to load, and works fine. It's very simple and no-nonsense, which I like.The ergonomics are great. I like the way it fells in my hand. It's a more natural position.The scroll-ring is one of my favorite features --it's super-functional. This one works the same, but it's not as smooth as the scroll ring on my other two Kensington trackballs...Right-click is fine, as that is a vertical button --my only gripe is that it's only big enough for one finger (your ring finger).On a lower-resolution screen, this is probably less of a problem, as the trackball acceleration will be lower, and the miss-click to the right will be less. BUT --high resolution screens are what make a trackball great. Need to move the pointer to the other side of a 4k screen? Roll that trackball right on over! Zoom! No picking up that mouse to re-center it on the mouse pad. It's great! Nothing like a trackball...A couple comparisons: I've used the Expert Wireless Trackball and the regular USB Orbit (wires matter way less with a trackball). Both the Expert and the Orbit are great --but the buttons are pressed vertically, so they cause very little accidental motion from your other fingers on the trackball. I can track the pointer over very accurately, and click on the right word in a paragraph without changing the position of the pointer at all. Even when gaming, when you're really rolling and clicking together, these two are both very accurate, and I go back and forth over which I like better.Kensington's products: great!This particular design: it's not for me...Update 24 Dec 21I've been using this with my laptop while travelling. I've grown to like it more for everyday emails and web-browsing. Still not my cup of tea for gaming, but I definitely prefer this to a regular mouse. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Little bit of everything for trackball mouse less ambidextrous design *by C***N on September 16, 2020* Recently started to using a trackball mouse (about a year plus) and loved it (most of its benefits such less unnecessary hand movement, small foot print, and most of all ambidextrous application. Due to heavy spread sheet works, I still use the good old conventional mouse for quick cell selections, switching tabs, and other boring work related stuffs thanks to strange muscle/brain memories, which I can't easily change. Working from home changed everything - I have a freedom to update my work environment for better productivity as well as ergonomically sound work condition (well, at my own expense). My original "Orbit" is great - no fancy frills, just down to key trackball features plus ambidextrous design (born as righty and trained as lefty). However, I really missed "forward/back buttons" from conventional mouses I have (silly demand). Then I found this "Orbit Fusion". It is literally the device which was developed to satisfy my silly demand (well, not perfectly, I will cover two tiny disappointments later).1. It has a scroll ring like the original Orbit. If you like your original orbit trackball mouse, you are going to love the same feature in Orbit Fusion. I wish it would have inherited trackball scroll feature from SlimBlade - maybe this is for the next version? Scroll ring is still rough, which might need some break in time (not smooth as scroll ring from the original Orbit).2. Forward/Back buttons - these were the missing things I have been complaining for the Orbit. With these, I don't need to touch a keyboard or click a back button on the browser/folder. Fair warning: different design means learning curve - all mouses have different button layouts; it will take some time to settle in (no sweat). I need to practice really hard since I am using three different input devices at the same time... All ten fingers will be very busy to catch up these tricks (especially, pinky)...3. Size - I don't have a gigantic size hand nor a really small hand, but relatively a big hand. This fits under my palm without pushing me too much. I like the low profile design of the Orbit more, but it would be okay with these extra features. Little taller/thicker, but same footprint compared to Logitech MX Master.4. Wireless Connection - I actually prefer a wired input device (just me with wierd interests thanks to bad experience with wireless connection devices). Sorry this does not support bluetooth connection. However, it is wirelessly connected with a provided dongle, which connection was just a plug-and-play. It even supplies a USB-C adapter for newer devices.4. Extras: "Battery" is included. I repeat. "Battery" is included. I haven't seen this in years. Not super fancy type, will do the work. Thanks, Kensington!!! There is no port to connect into the computer as a wired input device nor to recharge. Will test its battery longevity (TBD).5. Trackball - precise, balanced, weighted. I expected a bigger size, but it seems very same compared to its cousin "Orbit". Try to utilize a track ball while working in Excel or any spread sheet application, but very challenging due to pre-existing muscle/brain memories... If anybody has any suggestion to maximize track ball usage in spread sheet works, please share your knowledge, grand trackball master...6. Wishlist- Fusion is for right hand users only. I tried my left hand, but I can use it same as the original Orbit with one less button. Well, this is my personal wishlist for the perfect input device.
