It’s crucial to properly prepare soil prior to planting to get new plants and transplants off to a strong start. Plant-Tone really helps with this. After amending the soil I apply Plant-Tone, work it into the top 3 4 inches of soil, water lightly, then start planting. I’ve noticed a marked difference in the recovery and health of my gardens since adding Plant-Tone. It greatly reduces transplant shock and starts the plants rooting, growing and blooming much sooner than without it. I also apply it in Spring, Summer and the first week of September.
