We will be putting flooring on top eventually** A: Yes it definitely can, as long as you are going to put something over it, however, it's not made for the foot traffic on floors....It works great on walls. Expect about 10 years of life on the walls if you use this in your basement. **Q: Can I use this on a wall that is already wet or is there a product to stop the wet first and then apply this? (the wall is constantly "wet looking")** A: It has been some time, but if I remember correctly the bottom cellar steps were wet when I painted them. **Q: How long after I patch with Drylok fast plug can I paint walls with Drylok Extreme?** A: I waited 72 hrs and insured that everything was as dry as possible. I found other instructions that said as little as 8-24 hours, but I wanted to be sure that I wasn't trapping uncured material under a paint designed to seal moisture and not breathe. BTW it worked and I have had no problems since. **Q: What type of sprayer gun and tip is required to apply this product?** A: This product is best applied using a 3/4 Nap roller.
