Out of the 4, there was one that the part you blow up with was slightly off from the hole, and so it made it hard to blow it up. My husband had to put a little extra air in the one he was using, but he is a bigger person. The rest of them stay inflated the whole way down the river. They are just your standard floaty, but a little more sturdy than the ones you get for the pool. There are a lot of sharp rocks and tree branches to get stuck on, and they didn't pop. They are of average size.
