When purchased you would only receive 1 unit. **Q: Does this unit have to be insalled in a heated location?** A: Ambient temperature for the unit must be above 32 degf at all times otherwise the condensate will freeze in the unit and rupture the tubing. **Q: Can it be in the weather? i live in swfl and freezing is extremely rare** A: We keep ours outside under cover. It is protected but in open room. In East TX. You should run oil and water separator in hard lines before connecting to air dryer. That helps a lot because we have a lot of humidity. **Q: How much temperature drop can this unit provide?** A: Not designed for a temperature drop... it's designed to remove condensate and dehunidify. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy with the dryer *by J***I on April 1, 2025* The unit came packaged very nicely, allot of protection, plumbed up the unit fallowing the installation instructions, everything looks good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Desert dry with slightly cooler compressed air *by M***E on August 3, 2025* Dries almost every bit of moisture the compressor is producing. Quick setup and the desiccant blue balls in are bright blue for over 3 weeks now. Total relief with getting this to complete the compressor line setup. ### ⭐ Very disappointed and frustrated *by K***. on August 23, 2023* I ordered this Air Dryer because I generally have had very good luck with Ingersoll Rand products until now. When I got the first one yes you read that right the first one. All those a box was perfectly fine when I opened it I noticed that there was some screws missing that hold that air Inlet/ Outlet in place on the back of the machine. After further inspection I discovered that the compressor had actually come out of its mounts inside the dryer. I immediately boxed it up and shipped it back. Giving Ingersoll Rand the benefit of the doubt I immediately ordered another one. Bad choice. When I got that one though there was no visible damage as soon as I plugged it in and it went through its test I've got an error message. Call the Ingersoll Rand dealer scheduled a service appointment. The day before the appointment the service tech called me and explained they had no replacement units they were on back order nor could they get any parts to repair this one.
