I ordered a new cable because I wanted to get the best output possible. When I connected it, it did not work. I figured it may be the cable and I switched it to another one. It still did not work. I started to think maybe my laptop did not recognize the device so I connected it to a PC desktop. It still did not work! I even tried to connect it with different cables to an iMac Pro and it did not work. I tried other displays, (monitor, TV, etc.) and it still did not work! The converter came in a little bag and when I opened them, they looked Ok. It did not seem they were damaged at all. They just never worked.
