**Q: There’s no picture of the hoof. Is this a black hoof or white? And why is it the hoof is removed?**
A: Hooves are removed per USDA sanitary regulations before importation into the US.  5J Jamon Iberico de Bellota are produced from pata negra (black hoof) breed of pigs.

**Q: Is there real gold flakes in this ham or what?**
A: This is Spanish Jamon Iberico...No...there are no gold flakes.

**Q: does it come in the black bag/cloth packaging? And can that be used to cover it later?**
A: Yes, it does come with a black bag that can be used to cover the jamon.

At my house we use cotton cloth to cover it.

**Q: How long it last at room temperature after opened?**
A: I will last for months.  If it is covered with a towel, it won’t dry as quickly and will be easier to slice.
