I've been in the market for a new beard oil after starting to take care of my beard as I've grown it out lately, so I wanted to try a range to scents to see which I like best. I haven't exactly noticed a change in texture or softness due to the oils alone, as I have been regularly grooming and taking care, but they must be contributing somewhat to this as I'm very happy with the quality of my hair so far.The scents are long-lasting and not at all 'potent'. The oils themselves are not greasy and leave no unpleasant after-odours, even when present under a covid face mask for a day!Ultimately, you cannot beat the price for the quality of these products. Even if you don't find your 'regular' scent from this, it allos you to trial different scents to see which you like best, which is what I aimed to do. Honestly these are good oils. The smells are subtle, but present. Each scent really is its own, and does last the majority of the day. I have found more pleasant smells in the market, however these are by no means distasteful, nor do they leave a heavy chemical smell which I have found with other oils on the market.These do help to relieve tension in my beard, and aid in the softening as I have a thick and wirey beard. I use these oils in conjuction with the rest of my beard care routine. Wash (baby shampoo), beard conditioner, rest, heated comb, oil, rest, balm. The softening is down to the entire process and not just the oils, HOWEVER these oils for me in this process have helped to soften. Solely for that reason I would purchase these again.My personal only flaw with the oils, is the bottles. This is where money on the product has been overlooked and the details count. Personally I have always looked at the minor details of a product when it comes to comparing prices. The bottles are presented with a gloss black top for the dropper. This bottle top was troublesome for two reasons. The gloss black finish provides no grip, especially if there is residual oil on your hands or you don't have a tight grip. I no longer screw the tops on tightly to avoid slippage, leading me on to issue two. The bottom of the cap was sharp enough to cut skin whilst slipping around it. Not badly, however it is not expected when all you are doing is opening a bottle! This packaging error could be solved by adding nurling to the cap and a slight chamfer to the bottom edge.I do recommend the product regardless of fault.
