## Description

desertcart.com: BIQU Panda Revo MK8 Dual Gear Extruder, Double Gear MK8 Extruder 3D Printer Dual Driver Stock Feeder All Metal 1.75mm Filament Extruder Kit for CR-10S Pro/CR-10/ Ender 3 V2/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro : Industrial & Scientific

Review: Stop Hesitating – This is the Hotend the X1C Deserves - If you own a Bambu Lab X1C, you know the "Bambu struggle": dealing with those tiny, proprietary heater/thermistor clips and the chore of swapping out entire assemblies just to change a nozzle size. After cycling through several stock replacements and fiddling with finicky off-brand alternatives, I finally bit the bullet on the BIQU Panda Revo. Here is why it’s worth every penny. Installation: As Easy as it Gets One of my biggest concerns was a complicated teardown, but the installation was a total breeze. BIQU provides detailed, step-by-step instructions that are actually easy to follow. It’s a direct fit for the X1C carriage, and because it utilizes the Revo ecosystem, you aren’t dealing with those microscopic wires that seem designed to break the moment you look at them. The "Revo" Advantage The real magic here is the Toolless Nozzle Swap. No more: Unplugging delicate JST connectors. Thermal paste messes. Wrangling the ceramic heater spring. You simply unscrew the nozzle with your fingers (once cold!) and pop a new one in. Whether you’re switching from a 0.4mm for a detail print to a 0.6mm for abrasive filaments, it takes seconds, not minutes. Is the Price Justified? I’ll be honest: I delayed this purchase for months because of the "sticker shock." However, looking back at my order history, I realized I had spent nearly the same amount on multiple replacement stock hotends and various "all-metal" clones that never quite performed right. Learn from my mistake: Don't let the upfront cost scare you. When you factor in the time saved and the durability of the Revo heater core, it pays for itself. Pros True Plug-and-Play: Designed specifically for the X1C ecosystem. Cold Swaps: Change nozzles by hand without tools. Reliability: Excellent thermal consistency and significantly fewer clogs than stock. Build Quality: It feels like a premium, professional-grade component. Cons Initial Cost: Higher entry price than standard replacements. Ecosystem Lock-in: You must use E3D Revo nozzles (though their quality is top-tier). Final Verdict The BIQU Panda Revo is a noteworthy upgrade that transforms the X1C from a great printer into a seamless production powerhouse. If you find yourself frequently switching between materials or just hate the maintenance of the stock assembly, stop buying replacements and just get this. It should have been my first purchase.
Review: No Longer fits Ender v2 - With the latest Ender 3 v2 the motor has changed. The shaft is no longer keyed and the factory feed roller is pressed onto the shaft. As a result the new set screw is too high to catch the shaft. Also you need to get the old pressed roller off before you can even see this issue. The result is that this will NOT work on the newer Ender 3. If you look down at your extruder and the motor shaft does not stick up above the roller gear then this will not work. I always wondered how you connect the finger wheel filament feeders you find on Thingiverse for the Ender 3. Now I know with their latest model none of those will work either. Hmm...I guess I can kind of blame Creality for this but the vendor of this extruder needs to be current as well. If they made the lower part of the gear longer and put the set screw down there then it would work but you still have to get the pressed roller off the motor. Now that sounds all negative and if you have that model I guess it is - however, their customer service is absolutely great. They reached out to me immediately to clarify and resolve the issue. Although in the end it has been turned over to their engineers for a permanent solution, they gave me options and refunded super quick. I will definitely buy from them again.

## Features

- Upgraded Dual Extruder: Dual gears and dual pneumatic combined extrusion structure, large extrusion force, enhanced feeding intensity, ensuring smooth feeding. The double gear rotation design locks the filament, which is beneficial to improve printing quality and reduce filament slipping, high-speed extrusion or retraction, better pressure to push the filament into the printer, less easy to lose steps, faster printing speed
- Compatibility: Double gear mk8 extruder, perfect replacement for 3D printer CR-10/ CR-10S/ CR-10S Pro/ Ender 3 (initial version)/Ender 3 v2/Ender 3 pro/Ender 5/Tornado, etc. 1.75 mm filament (Set only for 3D printers with motor shafts exceeding 20mm, please measure the shaft length before placing an order.)
- Stable and Durable: All metal aluminum alloy, high quality double gear extrusion, compared with ordinary plastic drive, this high aluminum metal filament extruder is stable and durable. The idler gear has been upgraded with a brass washer added between the stainless steel gear and the aluminum housing, so the gear does not collide seriously with the housing, which helps reduce stock extruder wear
- Adjustable Spring: The tension of the extrusion spring can be adjusted by tightening the screw, which greatly improves printing accuracy and paper feeding problems. Strong extrusion end spring enhances feeding strength and ensures stable pushing of filaments into the hot end of the printer. Suitable for most types of filament, such as ABS, PLA, TPU, PTEG etc
- Imported Materials: The 3d printer dual extruder material is made of brand new imported aviation aluminum material and processed by CNC imported from Japan. The kit does not include the stepper motor, motor bracket and instructions, we need to make them ourselves. If you need some installation help, there are video introductions online, and you can seek our technical help at any time

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this work with newer
Ender 3 Pros?**
A: Yes...and no. You will not be able to attach the gear to the 42-40 motors that don't have the longer center shaft. These use a 14mm (from the raised part of the motor, the circle) shaft and it is not long enough. It will not work without changing the extruder motor.

Also, the input fitting will not clear the Ender 3 Pro Z rod...so if that's critical for your install, I'd look elsewhere.

**Q: Does this fit on a Creality-6SE printer?**
A: yes fits on mine, but i needed to print off a riser pad for the filament sensor. the one i used is called "Creality CR-6 SE filament sensor mount riser with cable holder for dual gear extruder" on thingiverse. but just a quick note, YOU WILL NEED 25-30 MM M3 screws. i picked up 2 at a hardware store but you can also buy them off here on amazon.

**Q: Could this work with the longer lk4 pro 3d printer?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. This dual pneumatic extruder can be used on longer lk4 pro 3d printer.

**Q: Is there a a version of this that comes with a motor?**
A: There is a version that comes with the extruder completely build the carriage assembly and a new hand but I can't remember who makes it it's literally a plug-and-play

### ⭐ A great hot end for learning how to disassemble your extruder repeatedly
*by D***R on March 23, 2025*

This nozzle just clogs constantly and so badly I have to disassemble the whole extruder to get it working again. I tried upgrading the nozzle to a $60 obxidian nozzle...same thing. This product is a waste of $140 and I can't return it because the box is gone. I exchanged it for a new one and guess what...same issue. On top of the $140 I wasted, I wasted an additional $60 on the new nozzle, $40 on another replacement nozzle trying to see if the nozzle was the problem, $100 on a new all metal extruder gear box and assembly, and no matter how much new upgraded tech I throw at this POS, it simply refuses to work. I run a business and this thing has wasted countless hours with failed prints where the nozzle just prints in mid air once the nozzle becomes hard clogged, rolls of filament, and hours of disassembling and reassembling the extruder to remove the clogs. In short, this company needs to go out of business. The product is awful and I am stuck with metal paperweight because I have no way to return it.
