Unfortunately, they do not quite work. While the D-ring screws fit the adapter fine, the space between the thread and the bottom of the screw head is too long. With the screw in as tight as possible into the camera, there is a gap between the screw head and the connector plate. It simply cannot be secured to either my D40 or D700 cameras. The D-ring screws appear to be of good quality. The screw ended up being just a tad too sort for me to get a c-clip on the shaft to hold it in place. But that is on me for not accurately measuring the length of screw needed. But it ends up that underneath there was a small plastic extrusion about 1/8" thick that I was able to grind off with my Dremel which allowed the screw to stick out far enough for me to get the retaining clip installed holding the screw in place. Works perfectly now. Not a ton of room to maneuver especially with my big hands, but it gets the job done and no more having to use a screw driver to mount my camera to the plate/tripod.Good value and solidly made, just make sure the length will do the job.
