Avoid. ### ⭐⭐ A taste of difference… but scratchy nib *by K***S on 3 September 2021* I ordered this fountain pen, as I had seen several reviews about it on YouTube and other websites. As I was looking for a easy, no-nonsense and functional travel companion (no long-winded cap unscrewing etc.), I went for this relatively new model from a trusted well-established brand. Over the years I got used to the fine nibs, even from the far-eastern manufacturers… Unfortunately the fine nib here does not provide a pleasant writing experience… it is unusually scratchy for a pilot nib (not sure who their current nib supplier is). I have been trying various paper/pen combinations and some seem to work a bit better, but this nib still does not provide a smooth writing style. On the positive side I can clearly say that the pen is well engineered as one would expect from a brand like Platinum.
