The middle pole attaches between the upper and lower making it substantially higher and more in-line with a professional size. **Q: The manual which is not great is in Spanish. Much has been written about the nonsensical instructions. My advice - lay out the post parts on the ground where you think they belong. Then you may refer to the diagram but just use a logical approach. Two people assembling the post took less than half an hour. I have a ratchet set. This makes assembly much quicker than using the supplied flimsy spanner. I filled the plastic weight at the base of the post with kiln dried sand (the sand used to fill in between paving bricks). Even so, a gusty wind would potentially blow over the post as the backboard acts like a sail. I secured my post with rope attached to two eye rings, two meters apart, screwed into a brick wall and attached to the post at a height of two meters. Risk assessment: Warning - there is a strong possibility that the post would be blown over in a strong wind. Imagine if it landed on a child!!!. The manufacturer should warn purchasers of this risk. They should offer suggestions how to secure the post if left in exposed positions. The quality of the post is of a high specification. NB. The height of the ring / backboard can be altered but that requires removal and replacement of bolts and nuts. It is not straight forward but a good option at initial build. Would I buy this product again?
