There are no dolls included so be sure to order at least one. When the box arrived it looked a bit beat up and I was a worried about the insides. Fortunately, all the parts were present and in perfect shape. I have to say, there are a LOT of parts. The first thing I did was make sure all of the parts were present. I highly suggest doing this because it gives you an idea about the parts when you start putting the castle together. It does take some time, but I didn't want to be halfway thru and find out an important part was missing. The instructions are picture only, but all the parts are numbered. The parts snap together firmly. When it's finally together, the castle is sturdy. My wife and I picked up the castle to hide it and didn't have any issues with it falling apart. It's actually a very nice looking castle and for the money is a good deal. It took my about 2 hours to assemble it which includes checking the parts.
