It truly is not meant to push across a carpet. **Q: it might be a silly question but does it come with the track or just the go kart?** A: Hi Mary, this item is the vehicle only, but you can purchase a Nintendo Mario Kart 8 race set, item No. 62361, which contains the Mario and Toad Karts plus track and everything you need to race out of the box. **Q: I realize the scale is different and it states this car will only work with the GO tracks, but has anyone tried it on the Carrera first track?** A: The car is unfortunately too large for the First track. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grandson love this little slot car..... *by W***N on January 24, 2017* We are running this slot car on a 1/32 track vs 1/43 track.
