Review: Best inserts for your feet! - My Podiatrist recommended that I purchase the Powerstep Insoles for my shoes and they have changed my life! I stand and walk a lot when I’m at work, often rarely sitting if at all during the day. I used to get these awful shooting pain in my heel and on the outer edges of my feet that would last several days before going away for a few weeks only to return. When I would get the sharp, shooting pains, I would compensate so much that I also got bad Charlie horses in my feet, calfs, and thighs. When I first put the Powersteps on, they were uncomfortable for a few days and after those two or three days, I felt great and never looked back. I haven’t had any issues with my feet since I started wearing the Powersteps. The sizes are accurate, and they last a long time depending on how you use them. I get about six months out of the pair I put into my work boots and I’m on two years for the ones that are in my regular sneakers that I wear when I’m not at work. I’ve had so much success with the Powersteps and recommend them to all my friends so much that I should start getting royalty checks from Powerstep! They really work that well! If you can get past the adjustment period of the inserts, they will change your life if you get foot pain. So many issues that I had with my feet, legs, and even lower back were all because of improper footwear which I didn’t believe until now. Review: Great for Pain Relief - Why purchased: I partially tore my Achilles tendon over the summer and was in extreme pain and discomfort whenever I would stand or walk. I was instructed by my doctor to only wear tennis shoes and try to remain seated for as long as possible. In the summer with a job at a golf course, the tennis shoes task was easy to accomplish but being a bartender and pool attendee, it was very difficult, if not impossible, to stay off my feet. I prolonged my recovery process by months from continuing to work. Once classes started I was walking even more, darting around a large campus to reach my classes on time. Now with a part time job in real estate, I can’t wear tennis shoes daily. I refused to buy shoe insoles at first because I almost felt like an ‘old person’ by needing them. I was a broke college kid so I refused to quit my job and struggled for months with increased swelling on my Achilles and even more discomfort from my activity level. My mother had developed bone spurs during this time and was in extreme pain as well. Once removed, her doctor started to wean her back into her daily activities by doing half the time wearing tennis shoes and the other half her regular nice shoes with these insoles and her life changed! I was then convinced that I needed these to monitor my pain, so I started to research and was pleasantly surprised at the cost of these insoles. My Podiatrist recommended that I purchase the Powerstep Insoles for my shoes and they have changed my life! I stand and walk a lot when I’m at work, often rarely sitting if at all during the day. I used to get these awful shooting pain in my heel and on the outer edges of my feet that would last several days before going away for a few weeks only to return. When I would get the sharp, shooting pains, I would compensate so much that I also got bad Charlie horses in my feet, calfs, and thighs. I have worn the Powerstep insole for many years in my work boots. If you are on concrete all day that rigid plastic arch support helps keep your feet going all day. They are durable and hold up to daily use in work boots. I highly recommend them.
