The barge work is heavy duty, in constant contact with steel cables, grease and heavy equipment, wind blowing sideways and cold snow occasionally. This gear stands up to the abuse and keeps me warm and dry. The built in knee pads are a big bonus and the hood is awesome, almost too big when you're not using it,, but very sheltering when I need it which is often here, probably works over a helmet also. I go through gear quickly with this work so I always bought the cheap stuff, but I'm glad i spent a little more this time.
