Also: 2l Öl in den Motor einfüllen, dann 0,6L Lucas/Öl Mischung, Rest mit Öl auffüllen bis die vorgeschriebene Gesamtmenge (bei mir: 4.7L) ereicht ist. The 4 or 5 gears are stacked on top of each other with the teeth engaged. You can see the Lucas treated oil would almost climb up the gears, where as the other set was regular oil, which drains off the gears much quicker. Its pretty plain that it changes the way it adheres to metals. The entire benefit of this is a decrease in engine friction. It most likely forms a better bond with moving parts. I feel like it would benefit any engine. **Q: Can you use this as a fuel treatment too???** A: I do not add this as a fuel treatment. Only in my engine oil. Lucas does make a fuel treatment and I do use that in my gas tank. **Q: What is the difference between this and the lucas 10001 heavy duty oil stabilizer?** A: Price. The LUC10130 is good enough. I’ve used it for years. My town car is very near 300k miles (same engine, no rebuild) and I attribute it to good maintenance and Lucas.
