They are stunning to look at in my bathroom and have a great amount of weight to them. I wasn't expect these to feel so substantial. Another cool trait is the way they "sing" when you walk over them. They make a lovely noise.The only complaint I have is the placement of the two rubber strips near the edges on the underside of the boards. They provide a good amount of grip, but they are placed to far towards the center of the boards so whenever I step on the edge of the mat, the boards pivot upwards on the opposite side. It's kind of annoying, but they look so good that I am willing to over look that design flaw.Overall first impressions are great. If they last as long as the manufacturer claims then they will have been well worth the money.Update 6/30/17: So I am dropping my score down to a 2 star rating. After using them in my bathroom gor a while, they have developed water stains in the wood that will not come out. They keep sliding on my bathroom floor so I have to keep repositioning them. And worst of all a few pieces of the wood is warping slightly.For how expensive these are, this is pretty pathetic.
