**Q: Gear broken? When the gear is pulled into the back position, the pedals don't turn the wheels. I'm assuming it has arrived broken?**
A: Hi it only has one gear got to keep it forward I think .

**Q: How much construction is needed to put this go cart together**
A: It took about 2 and half hours slightly fiddly and diagram not explicit but works well 3 yr old grandson delighted very well built good value,you need a spanner to fit different sized nuts and Phillip's screw driver

**Q: would you recogmend this for a 7 year old?**
A: Yes although we dud buy for a younger child, his older sister who has just turned 8 loves it. It is well built and very sturdy. If I remember rightly the seat can be adjusted forwards/backwards as the child grows

A: I wouldn't waste your money. The pedal system is weak and breaks quite easily.

This was a present for my 6yr old gt grandson who loved it straight away, we made the seat to the last point we could, but felt this would mainly be good for kids up to 5yrs old not 8, even at 6yrs old it was abit small. Sturdy item , well made and good value.
