It weighs significantly less than the old transformer and required different mounting like other reviewers have stated. Here are the two things that I think need to be noted that other reviewers did not mention: - This does not come with replacement boots. Those will need to be sourced separately - This transformer will auto adjust it's output from 6.5 to 9 kv, which is why you'll find this part number (Me-120-9000-30) listed for many replacement kits and sign applications. Knowing this was crucial info to locate what I needed. Hopefully this helps others trying to find a 9kv replacement! It fixed my dead neon sign and I'm happy with it! Review: Lights on - Worked perfectly for our neon bar sign ## Features - Output: 6.5 kV, 30mA;Input: 120VAC, 50/60Hz,750mA - UL Listed transformer, Overall size(LxWxH): 127x67x40mm (4.6x2.6x1.6in). - The transformer can be used for general size of real glass neon light signs from 20" to 32". - With On/Off switch on the cable making much easlier to be controlled.
