It's a perfect fit for my D3500 and provides much needed protection (though not as much protection as a leather case would.) Plus unlike leather cases of yore there is no way to partially remove the case to use the camera. Since the case is designed to fit the contours of the camera it fits snugly, which means putting it on and taking it off the camera aren't as simple as sliding it on and off. This shouldn't dissuade you from purchasing it but it does make you mindful of the time needed to ready the camera for a quick shot.

The fit is a little tight specially the part over the kit lens but it does fit.

I use with a Nikon D3000 and standard 18-55 lens,and it fits good. I can't imagine it would work well with a larger camera body or a bigger lens. For example, does not work with my telephoto lens.Otherwise perfect for carrying around with just the camera shoulder strap or throw it in a backpack with your other stuff and protect the camera.

I have a Nikon 3300 series and this is exactly what I needed for it! I'm now able to throw the camera in my purse for days out with the kids or just out in general and not have to take my entire camera bag to ensure it's safe! Made very nicely and the material even allowed me to have it monogrammed! Might have to order another in a fun color!

Too tight a fit for my Nikon D5200 with standard 18-55 kit lens... Probably will bust a seam under the pressure. Fits perfectly with my 50mm lens. Wonder how much bump protect the un-padded fabric can give.Update - First trip out camera fell off my shoulder (falling child was my priority) shattered the lens UV filter. Little knock protection as I originally thought, but at least no scratches and camera/lens still works.

I bought this to protect my Nikon D3100 and not just tossing it into my pack. Fits like a glove with a 55 mm leans.

Bought this as a gift for a friend who tends to leave her Nikon d3300 at home rather than lug both a camera bag and her purse. This solves the problem! protects the camera while it sits in her (larger) personal carryall. Really nicely made!!

This case is Sony a6300 approved: fit the width perfectly with wiggle room as well as with extra space when you have a telephoto zoom lens mounted on the body. I actually have the a6300 attached with the Sony body case and it can still fit the a6300 easily.
