There was nothing wrong with them, were quite comfortable, but I love the look of wood grips. Saw several on Amazon that looked very standard, and were quite beautiful, but I came across these and loved the idea of the sculpted finger grooves. They came in and looked beautiful. They installed easily, but there was a little bit of an edge where the halves meet in the front of the grip. Did a little very careful scraping the insides of the edges, reinstalled, and they are perfectly seamless now, cannot feel the joint. Also had to remove some material from the top of the right grip. I have a very long, extended ambidextrous safety, and the right safety lever (for lefties) would impact the wood grip, making it harder to engage. Filed that area less than half a milimeter, and now it is perfect. May just depend on what you fit them too.
