I have a fat Haffie, and I needed a slow feeder that was easy to use, and didn't require me trying to stuff hay into it. I had a hay net, and it was so hard to fill and then I had to tie it up, and untie it when I used it. This has easy to use snaps and straps to hang it with. I have no problem putting the hay in the wide top. Very sturdy, I don't worry that it won't hold up:). Adding after using it for awhile. The back does not wear as well as the front.
