Then I bought these because I read that spiders hate the scent of peppermint so thought, why not I'll give them a try. I put 3 of these packets outside on the back porch (without the paper holder) and let me tell you, Not a single spider since has made their home anywhere on our back porch, it has been amazing. The smell after awhile doesn't have the pepperminty smell but the arachnids still don't come around and they are strong. However, on the other hand, I put one in our closet and it smelled good for about a week and then turned into a weird funky musty smell, so I don't recommend for smaller spaces but its great for getting rid of rodents and spiders. 10 out of 10 for me 👍 Review: Soft and detemined scent that would work great for a car - So I am giving these 5 stars eventhough I hate this particular smell.
