Review: Absolutely terrible quality and aggravating to install. - I got the upper & lower hose for a challenger w/ the hemi 6.4L with the radiator also from mishimoto. The radiator is excellent but if I had known how bad the hoses were I definitely would have avoided them. First, the hoses had no instructions and their website had no detailed guide for the hoses. Yes, hose installation is pretty straight forward but on the challenger, the lower is actually 3 separate pieces connected by plastic couplers. I did not know this and mishimoto sends it to you as one piece. Getting the hose cut to the corrects lengths was a total pain in the a**, especially cutting it cleanly. Then 3 weeks later I noticed a very small pinhole leak in the center top of the longest lower hose and slight seepage at the plastic coupler. This is with using higher quality heavy duty hose clamps. Not the low quality crap clamps given to you by mishimoto. Before all this, I have to mention that mishimoto had the wrong sized upper hose in the set and I waited over 3 weeks for the correct hose! The nice thing is mishimoto did send me a 2nd hose set for the trouble when I contacted them about the install problems. But then the small leak started happening on the first set. So I did not want to install the new set because another leak could occur. So I did not want to install the brand new set that was still in the sealed package. The aggravating part is both the desertcart seller and mishimoto both refused to take them back for a refund, but thanks to desertcart for stepping in and honoring the return and refund. Now I have to deal with draining the coolant again, creating a mess to reinstall new hoses. I decided to go with oem hoses made by Continental (almost $100 cheaper than oem dodge parts). They come pre-cut with the couplers so it is a direct fit install. I do not plan to ever track this car so I don't need expensive silicone hoses. I was reading one of three reviews posted here and actually saw the reason in the part description why the other reviewer had to cut his! The problem is not the part itself... The problem the part that shipped was not what is in the picture and description! It is missing the tube that goes to the oil cooler which is clearly in the description! Very disappointed!!!! My car was in the shop on Sunday, I had no choice or ANY faith that this would be corrected so I had to cut it. Was not an easy task getting the lower hose connected to the coupler!
