After a long, harrowing swim in rapids with a 16.5lb flotation jacket, where I was constantly struggling to stay above the water and breathe, I bought this jacket. I love the flotation, but because it is kind of a hassle to use, I only take on the more serious river sections. My biggest gripe is if I am wearing a helmet in the water, the jacket rises up and the high back pushes the helmet and my head into the water. It's also an enormous jacket. I'm 6"1', 210lbs, and I can barely get it snug enough. Props to Mustang Survival for making a jacket with so much flotation though. It may literally save my life some day.
