He’s a little big for his box & over-sprayed. I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t notice it for a day. The mat absorbed it spite of the his spray dripping off the edge of the box for hours before drying! My floors were untouched. I hand washed it with enzyme cleaner pre-treatment (soaked for 15 min), regular laundry detergent, & a 10 min soak in laundry sanitizer. No smell! I laid it out to dry & in an hour it was COMPLETELY dry. I was shocked. If your cat has a serious urination issue, it might not work if saturated very heavily, but for the occasional vomit or miss of the litter box, this is an excellent option. 10/10 would recommend!!
