## Description

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of GunPla and 25th Anniversary of the Master Grade line, Bandai Spirits is proud to announce Master Grade EXTREME! The EXTREME series of Master Grade focuses on complimenting the 4 key points of Style, Internal Structure, Action, and Gimmick, with a 5th element known as the EXTREME Point that focuses on the iconic characteristics unique to that machine. The first in the EXTREME line is the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. Its EXTREME Point is replication of its luminous Psycoframe system. Katoki Hajime, its original creator, has redefined and re-interpreted the mechanisms for the Gundam using the combined engineering progress made in the original MG release as well as the Perfect Grade and Real Grade versions to create his vision of the ultimate Unicorn Gundam without sacrificing movement or sculpt allowing for an impressive array of motion including a 160 degree bend in the legs. Throughout the Unicorn's body, special new flexible color changing LEDs have been designed to accommodate a wide range of movement of the model kit as well as transformation between Unicorn and Destroy Mode. The LEDs shift color from Red to Green and are also embedded in its Shield Funnels to allow recreation of scenes from the Anime. The transformation has been renewed allowing a more accurate and intuitive hands-on experience. Includes Beam Magnum, 6 Gatling Guns that can be mounted in Shields, 3 Shield Funnels that can combine, Bazooka, 4 Beam Sabers, and display stands to suspend the shields and MS Cage. Water Decals and metallic stickers by Katoki Hajime are also included. 3 AA Batteries required for LED system (Sold Separately). The product box will have a Bluefin / Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed Bandai product, distributed by its sole and authorized distributor (Bluefin ) for the U.S. Markets. This product has been thoroughly tested for safety and meets all North American consumer product safety regulations. The affixed label also entitles the purchaser to product support assistance within the United States.

Review: Just do it! - This kit has been my holy grail for years, pretty much since it was originally released. It’s pricey, but it shows in the build. This is easily the best Unicorn mold that exists, and is vastly different from the other MG Unicorns. Tons of extras (weapons, MS Cage, etc), tons of decals, and when it’s all done and you finally light it up… nothing else like it. I would definitely only recommend this kit to experienced builders as the LED strip can be quite delicate and you need to follow the instructions to a T.
Review: Challenging but definitely worth it - There re alot of little parts to try and peice together and the added difficulty or trying to assemble the peices on the areas while insuring you don't pinch the led strip is a challenge but when completed.... its amazing. It comes with a stand for the ms and the Shields and there's not much in the way of actual wiring. Just connectors, I took my time and patients are required, but again totally worth it, tons of gimmicks and the leds shine through brightttt, now the head and torso transformations are tedious and you do have the possibility of popping it apart if not careful

There re alot of little parts to try and peice together and the added difficulty or trying to assemble the peices on the areas while insuring you don't pinch the led strip is a challenge but when completed.... its amazing. It comes with a stand for the ms and the Shields and there's not much in the way of actual wiring. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well designed.
*by S***N on February 1, 2021*

I don't know what the stars for "sheerness" mean, but I assume it means detail or mold quality. Anyway, I used to think that the MGEX was overpriced and stayed away from it, but after caving in ... It's not. First, the things that are improved over other "Unicorn" kits: Elvis hips, fixed. Destroy mode doesn't mean the kit shakes it's hips and falls off of you look at it wrong. Being a Ver Ka, it comes with Waterslides, of which there are many (but who spends $250 on a kit to NOT do it correctly). The legs have been reworked so a full bend required unlocking a couple parts. The whole kit is built around the LED ribbon and will require some added patience. One you understand the ribbon layout, it's pretty simple. The tedium level is about half that of the FA Unicorn ver Ka... Except you get six gatling beam cannons. The downside is that if you pose in the cage, the cage doesn't have a place to put the cannons, only the beam rifle, saber blades, and the bazooka.
