Soft and comfortable, everyday basic wear. *by J***C on 4 March 2023* I needed to replace some of my basic t-shirts but couldn't find anything I like in stores so ordered these to try since they were a really good price (I got them on offer). Considering the price I wasn't expecting anything amazing but I was very pleased with what was delivered.These t-shirts are a lovely soft material with a nice stretchy quality to them which makes them really comfortable to wear. According to the wash label they're made up of 56% cotton, 37% modal and 7% elastane. They can be washed at 40° and tumble dried too.I'm between size 16-18 in tops, depending on the brand, so i ordered an XL size as I didn't want an overly baggy fit since I want to be able to wear jumpers over the top of these t-shirts when the weather is cooler. Due to the stretch in them they fit quite nice and snuggly without being tight. It's perhaps a little more snug fit round my belly than I would like, but only very slightly, however I recently had a gallbladder removal operation and openly admit that I have since gone a little mad and overindulged in all the foods I couldn't eat before and hadn't really realised how much weight I'd put on (diet starts monday). So maybe I should've tried an XXL too for comparison. Once I get back to my normal eating habits though, I'm sure I'll drop those few pounds and the XL will be perfect.Anyway, I'm only 5ft and as you can see from the photos these t-shirts are quite long on me. It's ruched up in the middle so I could pull it down further if I wanted to but I quite like it worn that length.I've only washed them once so far but they've washed well. I'm happy enough with them that I've since ordered a second pack of 2 since there's such a good range of colours and patterns to choose from and yes I'm being optimistic and I've ordered XL again lol.Overall, these are good quality, good value basic everyday t-shirts that you can't really go wrong with. Maybe not for the taller person. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value for money *by A***R on 31 August 2025* Bought a few of these in different colours, not expecting too much, but have to say I'm impressed with the quality. The fabric is quite stretchy but feels like it will wash well. The fit is good with the neckline being just right, and the length being good. Usually size 18, bought the XXl and it's a good fit. I'm always on the lookout for plain t shirts to wear under shirts and couldn't justify the £20-30 some places charge now. Supermarket ones are OK but usually too short. Spendy ones from Seasalt turned out to be a weird fit.
