I can tell you that it isn't registered with PETA(who I don't trust.) or Leaping Bunny(who I do trust.) It says on the bottom of the label that it is paraben free, and the website that the ingredients are 98.8 of natural origin. On a separate note if you have thick hair the shampoo is not ideal.
