Review: Nice tasting cure - Nice tasting deli cure. This pack did 2 x 3 kg (6.6lbs approximately) beef joints, covered a rubbed the cure into the meat and turned the meat daily for 12 days as per instructions. The salt content is quite high compared to other cures I have used but having additional salt does make the cure more effective. The quality of the cure was good, no large lumps of salt or seasoning anywhere so well mixed. You can get cheaper cures but this one is great value for money and worth the extra few pennies.

Bought this to try as an alternative to steeping the meat in brine. Used brisket beef. Easy to follow instructions on the packet. Followed the instructions, washed the beef off at the end and cooked slowly in simmering water. Fantastic results. Was as good as shop bought salt beef. Eaten it all and now bought some more beef to repeat. Will keep using this.
