Review: Great buy, smart buy! - I need a few more of these, LOL. I needed an extra pot for my Ninja Foodi Tendercrisp because I was tired of OCD cleaning the main pot after cooking meat in it (I'm a vegetarian, but my dog is NOT!). This stainless steel pot is easy to clean, fits and works perfectly with my unit, and I never have to cook meats in this one - ever! I haven't had any issues with food sticking to the pot, and it gives the same thickness and durability as the original pot. It cooks the same too - I was a bit worried that the difference in material from the original pot would mean an adjustment in cook times - NOPE - I can still pressure cook, crisp, roast, etc. just the same. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to want at least two more. At LEAST. Great buy!

**Q: Is the bottom of this pot concave like the Ninja pot?  Sauteing in the Ninja is a pain because oil settles to the outer edge, not evenly on the bottom**
A: So I had to put water in the bottom to see, but yes it is convex like the Ninja pot.  The middle is definitely higher and the water ran to the edges of the pot.  I hope this helps.  :D

**Q: Anyone else have the stainless steel pot causing over-pressurisation in Ninja Foodi? Pressure valve won't stay closed.**
A: i have the 6.5 qt Foodi.  this pot is exactly the same size as the original ceramic coated pot.  however, with the steel pot, my timer begins before the pressure valve has popped up.  it seems to take much longer for natural release, too.  i have to watch for the Foodi to come to full pressure, then up the timer again to make sure i get the full cooking time in.  i will not be able to trust it to cook something delicate with a short cooking time (like noodles), but i love the steel since the ceramic is chipping off my original bowl.

**Q: Has anyone had trouble with this pot? I'm a little nervous because it's not a Ninja factory pot. I'm mainly worried about safety using preasure mode.**
A: I use mine all the time...it has replaced the original Ninja factory pot. Works great under pressure and on other modes, and i don't have to worry about using non-stick safe utensils.

**Q: Can I place this on an induction cooktop? I'm trying to melt oils, butters and waxes.**
A: Probably not. It does NOT have a flat bottom.

I am so glad I purchased the Goldlion Stainless Steel Inner Pot for my Ninja Foodi 8 Quart. I love this pot.
