Wrens, bluebirds, cardinals, Sparrows, Doves, mockingbirds, finches, etc. So we feed them, provide water, and give them nesting boxes and a warm place during the winter. My husband has made dozens of nice bird boxes through the years. As we have gotten older, he doesn't make then anymore. We have started buying them. We have tried several brands, and most of them last a few years and then we replace them. Recently we purchased the CARTMAN Cedar Blue Bird Box Houses. When they arrived we were pleasantly surprised with how well they were constructed. The roofs were painted and they had such nice perches. The interior as well as the exterior was smooth and well sanded. There is a metal screen in the bottom for extra cleanliness for the babies. The front easily lifts for easy cleaning. There is a vented area on the front so air can flow through the box when it is hot. It seems they just thought of everything! They did a wonderful job and they came 2 to a set. The price was great! Who could ask for anything more! We purchased 2 more the following day. The boxes have been up a couple of weeks, and they all have tenants. They were occupied within 3 days. The birds seem to love them as much as we do. We will certainly buy them again without any doubt.
