I put it in my 100 gallon pond (stock tank) with 4 ducks. If you know ducks, you'll know why I said I abused these. Ducks poop up to 100 times a day each (their poop is full of dirt and sand), and they molt (feathers get sucked into the pumps). These little pumps have had a lot to deal with. When the 660 gph one had problems, I bought the 1100 gph one (Jan 2021) to replace it and kept the first one as backup. Later, (July 2021), I bought a second 1100 gph one as a backup. I currently use one in my hydroponic system and the other in the duck pond. Sometimes they stop working but if I bang them on the side of the tank they start right up. To make a long story short, they have held up against way more than they are designed to do.
