Review: Quality meets convenience! - Pens Used: Asvine Hongdian Forest Fountain Pen Ink: Watermen Intense Black Ink Ink flow: Great, no skips or issues Ease to use, good value for money, quality design —— TLDR; While galavanting around NYC on vacation, journal in hand, I stopped at a cozy coffee shop to write, only to realize I’d forgotten to refill my fountain pen and had left my ink bottle back at the hotel. Rather than trekking all the way back to downtown Manhattan from Brooklyn, I called around and found a stationery shop willing to refill my pen. Stepping out into a cold, rainy November afternoon, walking to the stationary shop - I promised myself this would no longer be my story. No more traveling with ink bottles. I vowed to switch to refillable cartridges to make life easier. I exclusively use fountain pens & these cartridges are great and fit my Asvine Hongdian fountain pens perfectly. To prevent any leaks in my bag or purse, I carry them in small plastic pill baggies, and that setup has worked flawlessly.

**Q: Is this pen suitable for a gift?**
A: yes

**Q: I'm completely new to fountain pens - can you fill up these converters and keep several in a bag rather than taking ink with you? Or will they leak?**
A: You should buy a small travel ink bottle kit rather than trying to keep these filled while traveling.  These will probably leak when not in a pen and will definitely be messy to handle if left full.  I use a small kit by from amazon called "Tekukor".  It's a small velvety bag with ziplocks inside to prevent spills, and in the ziplock is two small glass ink bottles which hold enough ink for months of intense writing as well as an ink syringe with non-sharp needle tip for filling any kind of pen.  You can dip the tip to fill or use the syringe and fill the converter/cartridges manually as well.

**Q: I am left-handed, will this pen work for lefties?**
A: Don't see why it would not work for left handed. But the one I got does not write very well. Skips alot.

**Q: Will this fit the Parker IM?**
A: I'm not sure but I don't think so.
