Would get nasty ankle sprains by going up for a rebound and then landing on someone elses foot. I noticed a friend would tape his ankles and asked what he used. 2" tape is a must...i've tried 1 1/2" and its just not wide enough to provide support. 2" tape provides excellent roll restriction on the ankle...would feel unnatural at first, but in the same its not noticeable. I've never received an ankle sprain since, and I've landed on other peoples feet at least a half dozen times in the last 20 years. Each of those times I'm so thankful that I was wearing the tape, I knew immediately how it saved me from a painful sprain and long recovery.Ankle braces and stabilizers don't even work as close or well as ankle tape.
