It uses little pool noodle type styrofoam to hold the whole structure upright. And, it even came with several nice balls and a ball pump. My kids and grandkids are going to love this. We also got the basketball hoop version of this which was also really nice.

I was a little worried that this wouldn't be able to stand up in the water. But, it's an amazing little pool toy. It's really well made and it works great in the water. It uses little pool noodle type styrofoam to hold the whole structure upright. And, it even came with several nice balls and a ball pump. My kids and grandkids are going to love this. We also got the basketball hoop version of this which was also really nice.
