Great rod

Even Better Than I Thought
This is a really nice rod. I use it mostly for surf fishing and flinging lures out a long ways to get to feeding fish. It's great. Eyes are really good and secure and the hook keeper is perfectly placed. The rod is well balanced and I am impressed.

Great all around pole.
Great pole for deepwater red fishing. I also use it with a planer when we slow troll for king mackerel. I have 3 of these poles and they catch just as much as the 300 dollar species specific rods. And I'm not really pissed when if an eye breaks at this price point.
