## Overview

The KeepCup Brew Cork 12 oz is a premium reusable coffee cup crafted from durable tempered glass with a natural cork band for heat insulation and grip. Sized to barista standards, it ensures perfect coffee-to-milk ratios and fits under espresso machines seamlessly. Featuring a splashproof lid designed for on-the-go use and compatibility with car cup holders, it’s dishwasher safe (hand wash recommended for cork) and free from harmful chemicals. With a commitment to sustainability, 1% of sales support environmental initiatives, making it the ideal choice for eco-conscious professionals who value quality, style, and social impact.

## Description

The KeepCup Brew Cork is a reusable coffee cup made for people who drink their coffee out of glass and want it to stay that way. The cup body is tough tempered glass, so coffee, tea and cold brew taste exactly as the barista intended, with no plastic aftertaste and nothing lingering from yesterday's drink. Wrapped around it is a band of 100% recovered cork: a natural, renewable material that would otherwise go to waste. The cork insulates your hand from the heat and gives the glass a warm, grippy surface that does not slip on a morning commute. Brew Cork is sized to standard cafe measures in 6, 8, 12 and 16 oz, which means your barista pours exactly the drink they would pour into a paper to-go cup. No guesswork at the counter, no half-full cup, no awkward conversation about whether it will fit. The splashproof press-fit lid seats firmly and seals against splashes, so the cup travels safely in a tote bag or a car cup holder between home, the cafe and your desk. Care is simple: the cup, lid and cork band are all top-rack dishwasher safe. Materials are BPA, BPS, phthalate, lead and cadmium free. One reusable cup used daily replaces hundreds of disposable cups a year. Brew Cork is built to last for years of that, not months.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the cork band removable for cleaning?**
A: It is removable, but the KeepCup website actually recommends you don't remove it. Just hand wash and dry with the cork band on. I imagine this is to prevent stressing the cork. Frequently removing/replacing the band might be what's causing the cork breakage several reviewers seem to be experiencing.

**Q: Are they completely leakproof? Ie can you turn it upside down?**
A: No, it is not even remotely leakproof. Liquid seeps under the lid and dribbles out every time you take a sip. I have ruined many shirts because of these blasted cups. They are a waste of money.

**Q: Will this for in most cup holders?**
A: Yes it fits in all sorts of cup holders. I have a 2003 Honda Civic and it fits in there perfectly plus I have 2005 Tacoma and it fits in that cup holder perfectly

**Q: where is this made?**
A: This is copied directly from the KeepCup webpage from the Frequently Asked Questions section:KeepCup Original Cups, Lids and plugs are currently manufactured in Victoria, Australia.KeepCup Brew glass cups and our silicone bands are manufactured and printed in China. Our cork bands originally come from the ancient cork oak forests of Portugal, but are manufactured from the recycled waste material from the wine industry. The KeepCup was conceived as a sustainable product and this mandate overrides all commercial decisions we make.
